I am Alexandra, and I love animals

I found Argos through Jean Paul, and I feel I really must congratulate the people of the sanctuary for the care they provide. Animal welfare is something that should be a priority in every country. I don't remember where I read this, but someone once said that the value of a nation is measured in the way it treats its animals...

I'm the proud owner of a hunky German Shepherd (well, I'm biased ) named Brego. German Shepherds are my favourite breed and one day I hope to become a trainer.

And yes, I'm one of those people who always get in trouble at home for bringing in stray animals and bugging my vet at all times of night or day with yet another animal that has been found and is looking for a home! cats, dogs, owls, you name it...

He looks vicious but really is a big goofball... this is him with a little girlie I rescued and rehomed...

I love my baby
